People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

I am often asked how and why I decided to enter into this very specialized area of physical therapy.  It was always a concern of mine that women are the largest consumers of health care and yet there are very few practitioners that specialize in women’s bodies.  I found this out through my personal struggle with pelvic pain.

Specifically, I suffered from pain with intercourse for four years.  Everything I read stated that there was no cure.  I didn’t believe it and so I continued on my journey to find a solution.  Through my quest, I finally found a combination of medical professionals, including an MD, a nurse practitioner and a physical therapist that were all instrumental in me getting my life back.

Now, the human body has become my passion.  I am fascinated by the human body and how it works.  Nothing is more rewarding that working in a profession where I can help people change their bodies in ways that allow them to enjoy a more satisfying and pain free life.
