What is Manual Therapy?

Manual physical therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine.  Specific and precise manual forces ranging from gentle to firm pressure are applied to the body in order to improve mobility in areas that are restricted; in joints, in connective tissues or in skeletal muscles.
